Jim Curtin is not only the first Elvis Tribute Artist to hit the circuit
back in 1975,
he was also personal friends with Elvis from 1970 to 1977.
He is the only person in the world to whom Elvis gave one of his stage-worn
jumpsuits as a gift!
Jim is also the owner of "The Elvis Empire", which is the world's
largest archive of Elvis Presley.
In this archive, Jim has:
over 25,000 photos of Elvis
over 10,000 collectibles of Elvis
over 5,000 records of Elvis from all over the world
10,000 feet of unlreased concert footage on Super 8mm film
3 original stage-worn jumpsuits once belonging to Elvis
and hundreds (if not thousands) of other items.
As an ETA, Jim goes under the name JIM "E" CURTIN.
He has been entertaining people all over the United States and Canada
since 1975.
With over 550 concerts under his belt, Jim "E" has accumulated
over 7000 fans on his personal mailing list.
Jim "E" was signed on by the well-known record label STARFIRE and recorded
two records on that label .... both received well by the public and both
selling out worldwide!
These two records are today - collector's items.
Jim "E" has today five albums and three CDs:
Rockin' Country, Rockin' Oldies and Rockin' Christmas to his credit.
He is currently in the studio working on a special CD:
Rockin' King, in commemoration of the 25th Anniversary of Elvis' death.
He hopes to have this CD released sometime in May-June 2002.
